Mammoth Solar to support Pulaski project

Mammoth Solar has pledged to provide ongoing support to the Pulaski County Historical Society.

Developed by Philadelphia-based Doral Renewables, Mammoth Solar recently contributed to the Society's Cultural Center project. The Society will use the funding to purchase furniture and equipment for the community room in its new Cultural Center.

The Cultural Center will feature a room dedicated to hosting meetings and events. The overall project includes enhancements to the museum and research areas, and updated displays and storage equipment.

“Mammoth Solar is deeply committed to the communities where we work, and we are thrilled to support this project that celebrates Pulaski County’s rich history while creating opportunities for connection and collaboration,” said Chris Kline, Doral Renewables development manager, in a press release.

Kathi Thompson of the Pulaski County Historical Society expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership.

“This partnership, like others, will help us create a valuable resource for the community – a space that honors our past while looking toward the future,” Thompson said. “We are very happy to have Mammoth Solar as a community partner and are looking forward to working together.”

With the first phase of the Mammoth Solar project now completed in Starke County, construction will begin on the Pulaski County portions in February.

“Doral and Mammoth Solar looks forward to building additional connections and creating lasting benefits for Northwest Indiana,” Kline said.
