IU Northwest to host teacher recruitment fair

The School of Education at IU Northwest invites prospective teachers and administrators to a recruitment fair on April 5.

Twenty local schools and school corporations throughout Northwest Indiana will be actively recruiting to fill teaching and administrative roles for the 2024-2025 school year. Several schools are seeking to hire teachers and administrators for all grades and subjects as soon as possible. Recruiters will be representing public, charter and private schools.

The free event is open to qualified graduating students, current and former educators and alumni from any college or university. Registration is requested but not required.

The recruitment fair will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. April 5 at the Savannah Center at IU Northwest in Gary. Learn more about the fair here.

IU Northwest is one of seven campuses of Indiana University. The campus has approximately 3,500 degree-seeking students and 1,800 dual-credit students. IU Northwest offers over 70 degree programs.
