Northwest Indiana Forum hires marketing coordinator

Morgan Bruns, a Northwest Indiana native, is the new marketing and events coordinator at Northwest Indiana Forum.

“We are so excited to welcome Morgan to our team. She will continue to enhance our marketing efforts and manage over 20 events throughout the year,” said Heather Ennis, president and CEO of the Northwest Indiana Forum, in a press release.

Before joining the Forum, Bruns worked as a marketing communications specialist at Smithville, a broadband company in Ellettsville.

Bruns is a graduate of The Media School at Indiana University Bloomington. She earned a bachelor's degree in journalism, with a concentration in public relations, a specialization in strategic communications and a minor in communication and public advocacy.

During her time at Indiana University, Bruns interned in the marketing department at Cook Medical, a medical device manufacturing company. She also worked as a communications intern at CCB Counseling Services, a nonprofit mental health organization in Bloomington.

Northwest Indiana Forum focuses on creating economic development opportunities in Northwest Indiana. The nonprofit organization aims to raise the per capita income, attract investments and support policies that lead to growth in the Region. The forum was founded in 1983.
