The Indiana Economic Development Corp. hired Jonathan Laramy, founder of Stealth Mode Solutions, to build Indiana's brand in the Great Lakes region.
“Indiana is firmly committed to ongoing growth, continually seeking avenues to amplify and fortify our state's reputation,” said Ann Lathrop, IEDC chief strategy officer, in a press release. “Our targeted focus on the expansive and dynamic Great Lakes region is both deliberate and strategic. Indiana holds a beacon of opportunities, and Jonathan will serve as a guiding force, propelling Indiana's economy forward.”
Laramy will represent the IEDC when building relationships and advocating for the “Why Indiana” initiative. His partnerships will focus on attracting business to Indiana from the Great Lakes region, including Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin.
Laramy has 25 year of sales and marketing experience. Stealth Mode Solutions is a consulting firm that develops sales and marketing strategies for its clients.
He joins a team that is “focused on creating the economy of the future in Indiana.”
Last year, the IEDC brought in $22.2 billion in new investments, which includes $15.5 billion from new companies investing in the state.
