Business seminar comes to Michigan City

Michigan City will host a small business seminar on Sept. 26.

The event will feature speakers from the Economic Development Corp. Michigan City, Indiana Small Business Development Corp., U.S. Small Business Administration, the Regional Development Company and Allies for Community Business.

Topics will include the Small Business Administration 504 loan program, small business support, microlending and local resources. Attendees can learn more about the process of starting a small business from crafting a business plan to securing financing. They will also have the opportunity to network and meet nonprofit community partners.

The event will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. Sept. 26 at the STAR Center in Michigan City. The Economic Development Corp. Michigan City will provide refreshments. Learn more here.

The Economic Development Corp. Michigan City is a private nonprofit. It is dedicated to attracting new companies, helping existing businesses and spurring entrepreneurial efforts. The organization offers educational opportunities to incite economic growth.
