The Crown Point Rotary Club will host Kristopher Krouse from the Shirley Heinze Land Trust during its weekly guest speaker series Nov. 8.
Krouse is the executive director of the conservation organization and is known for his commitment to preserving biodiversity and using environmental conservation to enhance the quality of life in local communities.
Krouse will speak at 12:10 p.m. Nov. 8 at the Youche Country Club in Crown Point. Reservations for the $15 lunch can be made by emailing jskibbie@jrsmarcom.com.
The club regularly features experts in their fields. The Nov. 1 lunch included speaker Jeff Good, the founder of Good Hospitality Group. He has more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality field. On Oct. 18, the club welcomed Karrah Herring, chief equity, inclusion and opportunity officer from the state of Indiana. Other speakers come from industries and organizations in the Region.
The club also sponsors an imagination library, which provides about 300 books monthly to children from birth to 5 years old.
The Crown Point club offers opportunities to build friendships and help others.
