SOUTH BEND – Venues Parks & Arts (VPA) presents their annual Fall Family Fun Fair on Saturday, October 14 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Rum Village, located at 2626 S. Gertrude St. Fall Family Fun Fair is free and open to all ages.
The schedule of activities for the event is as follows:
All day: Pumpkin decorating, carriage rides, face painting, balloon twisting, bounce houses, climbing wall, petting zoo, Touch-a-Truck, live music, arts & crafts, Edge Adventure aerial park, food and treats in Food Alley, and a variety of vendors and artists.
10:30 a.m.: Autumn hike through the Rum Village woods
11:00 a.m.: Costume parade
11:05 a.m.: Costume contest
11:30 a.m.: “Meet the Critters” program
12:30 p.m.: Pie eating contest
1:00 p.m.: “Meet the Critters” program
2:00 p.m.: “Meet the Critters” program
2:30 p.m.: Ice cream eating contest
Fall Family Fun Fair is sponsored by Physician's Urgent Care and South Bend Firefighters Federal Credit Union. Other partners include Matthy's Farm Market, Bonnie Doon, Lincolnway Cafe, EventSys, and O'Brien Fitness Center.
