HAMMOND – The South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority is still accepting submissions to its photo contest, “Summer Fun.” Photo submissions are being accepted until Thursday, Sept. 20.

First place receives a $500 gift certificate to the photography and video company B&H to be used on their website www.bhphotovideo.com.

In addition to the chance to win a prize, photo submissions may be selected to be featured on the South Shore CVA’s new Website, which is expected to premiere in December.

Photographs should be candid and depicting people enjoying summer activities such as the beach, festivals, parks and the water park.

The winner will be announced Sunday, Sept. 23 at the Light in the Mind photo seminar.
