CROWN POINT – The Society of Innovators of Northwest Indiana will hold Innovation Day at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 12, at the Purdue Technology Center in Crown Point.
The seventh annual call for nominations for the Society of Innovators will be held. Nominations will be accepted from Jasper, Lake, LaPorte, Newton, Porter, Pulaski and Starke counties. Speakers are J. Guadalupe Valtierra, chancellor of Ivy Tech Northwest; Richard Sussman, chair of The Society and general manager for ArcelorMittal R&D; Linda Woloshansky, president of Center of Workforce Innovations; Mike Worosz, assistant chancellor of academic affairs at Ivy Tech Northwest’s East Chicago campus; and O’Merrial Butchee, director of the Gerald I. Lampkin Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Ivy Tech.
