HAMMOND – The South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority is looking for nominations for the annual ROSE Awards. The Recognition of Service Excellence award honor front-line employees for their work and dedication throughout the year.
In the travel and tourism industry, worth $1.62 billion annually in Lake County, front-line employees play a vital role in the day-to-day interactions with visitors. Nominations are being accepted until Aug. 31.
They should be non-managerial or hourly employees who interact directly with the customer on a regular basis. The winner will be announced Sept. 26. For more information, visit www.rose-awards.com.
