MERRILLVILLE – The first Good Teachers Count scholarship for 2012 has been awarded to Cosetta Black. The scholarship was created with Legacy Foundation by nine women of Legacy Foundation’s board.
The Good Teachers Count Fund was created to help local women complete their education.
Black received her bachelor’s degree in 2011 in organizational management from Calumet College of St. Joseph in Whiting and then enrolled in the Transition to Teach Program.
