MERRILLVILLE – John Gregg, former speaker of the Indiana House of Representatives and a 2012 Democratic candidate for governor, has received the endorsement of the 1st Congressional Caucus of the Democratic State Central Committee.
The endorsement came during a speaking engagement at the Radisson Star Plaza in Merrillville, hosted by the Lake County Democratic Central Committee.
During his comments, Gregg stressed the importance of moving past divisive politics and putting the state on a path for a sustainable economy, a strong manufacturing base and creating a world class education system for all Hoosier children.
