Kathie Mancini has been named regional president for health insurance provider Humana’s east central Medicare operations.

She will oversee operations in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio and a staff of more than 400 people.

“I’m excited to lead an outstanding regional team of professionals at Humana, and to partner with them in growing our Medicare lines of business in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio,” said Mancini. “Humana is a distinguished company with a strong connection to our members and the communities we serve.”

Mancini brings more than 25 years of health care experience to the role. She most recently served as president of New Health Horizons LLC where she directed its Medicare Advantage plan’s sales growth, product development, broker channel development, and network strategy.

Mancini is a graduate of Ohio University. She will be based at Humana’s Dublin, Ohio office.
