Heartland Film Festival is Oct. 14-23

            INDIANAPOLIS – The Heartland Film Festival, which will be held Oct. 14-23 in Indianapolis, has received a record number of entries.

            The 19^th annual film festival has 832 independent submissions, well over the 647 received in 2006. This year’s entries include 118 student films.

            Filmmakers from 48 countries have submitted feature-length, short and documentary films.

            Screenings will be at AMC Castleton Square 14 at 6020 E. 82^nd St., and AMC Showplace Indianapolis 17 at 4325 S. Meridian St. For more information, visit www.HeartlandFilmFestival.org. The schedule will be announced Sept. 23 and tickets go on sale Sept. 24.
