INDIANAPOLIS — The Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) Indiana chapter announces its 2014 healthcare panel event entitled, “The impact of the Affordable Care Act and healthcare reform 2.0 – past, present and future.”

What does the healthcare reform that goes into effect in 2014 mean for states, insurers, providers, firms and patients across the life sciences industry? As a follow-up from our 2013 panel, this discussion will take a look into the changes that have gone into effect and provide updates on upcoming key implementation steps, ramifications and how it effects the future of healthcare. Government leaders, observers and industry professionals will be sharing their thoughts on the transformation of our healthcare system a year later and thoughts on what's yet to come

Why should you attend?

* Gain perspective on the changes, how those changes are being reflected in the healthcare environment, and the impact of those changes on our businesses.
* Enhance understanding of how the impact of the changing healthcare environment is influencing government’s approach to providing access to care and the implications to our businesses.
* Hear from experts about what's working and what's not.
* Gain clarity on what is being done and what else is being considered to transform businesses and our individual ways of working in today’s healthcare environment.

The networking reception and panel will take place on Tuesday, March 11 from 5:00–8:30 at the Conrad Indianapolis. The deadline to register online is March 6.
