HAMMOND – Greyhound has announced it is closing its bus terminal in Hammond after half a century of operation. Passengers can still board at the location, but the station itself will be closed.

The only Greyhound station left selling tickets to passenger is the Metro Station in downtown Gary.

The company said 20 buses a day will continue to stop in Hammond.
