SOUTH BEND – Goodwill Industries of Michiana, Inc. will facilitate its first Saturday Hiring Event at the Warsaw Community Career Center with Fairmont Homes on: April 18th from: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. They are seeking individuals to fill a variety of positions in their Build Plant (manufacturing facility) and Door Shop.
Build Plant positions require skills in blueprint reading, the ability to read a tape measure and lift between 50 to 100 pounds repetitively. Experience is preferred, but not required. These positions include: Framer, Electrician, Plumber, Partition Wall Setter and Wall Layout, Sidewall Setter, Sidewall Builder, Cabinet Setter and Roof Builder. Door Shop positions include: Machine Operator (molder experience helpful), General Machine Operator (mechanical skills required) and Paint Shop Technician (spraying experience helpful).

It’s like finding an instant friend! You can also hone your skills for this in advance by scheduling an appointment at the Career Center before the event. We’re always happy to help!” Candidates should dress professionally, bring a current resume and be prepared to interview that day.
