SOUTH BEND – Federal Mogul has announced it will spend $22 million on new equipment for its South Bend plant, which manufactures pistons for the automotive industry.
More than $18 million will be for new equipment and more than $3 million will be for a new research laboratory.
Federal Mogul said the project will create 20 new full-time jobs. The South Bend factory has more than 400 workers.
