MERRILLVILLE – Claudia Earls has been named division counsel for NIPSCO. Most recently, she was assistant general counsel.

Earls will oversee legal support and regulatory matters for NIPSCO. She was involved in the recent electric rate case and represented the utility before the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission.

She joined NIPSCO in 2010 after spending nine years with the firm of Barnes & Thornburg in Indianapolis. She received her undergraduate, master’s and law degree from Indiana University.
