LAPORTE – Valparaiso University nursing students, along with Indiana University Health LaPorte Hospital, will hold a free community health fair from 2 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, in the IU Health LaPorte Hospital Auditorium.
Glucose and blood pressure screenings will be offered and education programs on diabetes, diet, vaccines, osteoporosis, heart disease, medication safety, public health, community resources, mental health, breast cancer, prevention of chronic illness and dental health will be presented.
