HAMMOND — Fans of the holiday classic “A Christmas Story” will soon have the opportunity to meet the actors who played bullies Scut Farkus and Grover Dill,  little brother Randy Parker, and Flick, who infamously got his tongue stuck to the flagpole, at the Indiana Welcome Center.

The South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority will be hosting a VIP actor’s reception with Zack Ward, Ian Patrella, Yano Anaya and Scott Schwarts on Friday, Dec. 6 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the Indiana Welcome Center for $20, and include an “Inside the Actor’s Studio” discussion as well as a meet and greet reception.

The actors will also be participating in meet and greet sessions throughout the weekend where they will talk to fans, answer questions, pose for photos and sign autographs. Autograph fees apply. Meet and greet sessions will be held at the Indiana Welcome Center on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8.
