MICHIGAN CITY – The 10th annual Women’s Fair, presented by IU Health LaPorte Hospital, will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Blue Chip Casino’s Stardust Event Center.
More than 30 exhibits from regional businesses and organizations will provide goods and information from jewelry to insurance, health and wellness information. Included in the exhibits are the daVinci Robotic and Sensei X Robotic Surgical Systems where attendees may operate the surgical robots and learn the benefits of the technology.
There also will be several free screenings including clinical breast exams, hearing, oral cancer, glucose, bone density, blood pressure and core strength assessment. A flu vaccine to protect against seasonal flu will be offered for $25; a pneumonia shot is available for $70.
