LAPORTE – The Council of Juvenile Correctional Administrators has chosen Camp Summit Boot Camp to receive the 2011 Performance-based Standards Barbara Allen-Hagen Award for extraordinary improvement to facility quality of life and operations.

“Many factors have contributed to our success with PbS standards,” said Superintendent Cecil Davis. “Foremost, Camp Summit is blessed with many highly dedicated and professional staff that genuinely cares about the juveniles we work with.”

Indiana Department of Correction Commissioner Bruce Lemmon said, “This is a great honor and accomplishment for Camp Summit in such a short time as a PbS participant. Our youth services staff are dedicated to providing the best treatment and services to the youth in our care in the hopes of making a positive impact on their future and making them better citizens.”
