VALPARAISO – Valparaiso University will build a 15,000-square-foot welcome center near its U.S. 30 entrance, thanks to a $5 million gift from an anonymous donor.
President Mark Heckler said the center will include historic displays from the university. He said it will be a place where the community and potential students can visit to learn about VU.
A ground breaking for the welcome center will be held April 28.
