St. Mary’s boosts women entrepreneurs

SOUTH BEND – The St. Mary’s College Women’s Entrepreneurship Initiative will offer the SPARK entrepreneurship training program. The 11-week program runs from Feb. 14 to April 26 at the college and is aimed at under resourced, high potential women entrepreneurs.

Those interested in taking part must apply in person at a screening from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Feb. 7 in the media center collaborator (Room B11) on the lower level of the Cushwa-Leighton Library. Twelve to 14 women will be selected for the program.

They must commit to meeting each Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a fee o $150 is due the first day.

The program is a joint effort between the Department of Business Administration and Economics and the Center for Women’s Intercultural Leadership.
