HAMMOND – The South Shore CVA has unveiled a new web site. It uses the latest technological features that provide users with an aesthetically pleasing and easy-to-use format.
“The South Shore has had this untapped source of art that we felt deserved to be showcased. It’s something unique to our area,” said Speros Batistatos, president and CEO of the South Shore CVA. Throughout the site, the South Shore poster series provided inspiration for use of colors, layout and design elements. Additionally, most photography is in the process of being matched with the poster that it represents.
The website has numerous features that allow users to do much of their destination research without ever leaving the site, including a book-your-stay widget, which will assist with hotel reservations without going to their individual websites, mapping widgets, which uses Google integration to show where businesses are located as well as nearby businesses, social media connections and much more.
