GARY – Positron Corp. has announced it plans to develop a $45 million facility in Gary to manufacture radioactive medical imaging isotopes.
Positron, based in Fishers, Ind., will receive $15 million in tax increment financing from the city. The company also has a plant in Crown Point.
When the project is completed, Positron will employ 50 people in Gary.
