VALPARAISO – Porter Hospital has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval, certifying it as a Primary Stoke Center.
“By achieving certification as a Primary Stroke Center, Porter has proven that it has the ability to provide effective, timely care to stroke victims and can significantly improve outcomes for stroke patients,” said Jean E. Range, executive director of Disease-Specific Care Certification for The Joint Commission.
