Parlor Doughnuts will open in Valparaiso June 18.
The shop at 255 Morthland Drive is a craft doughnut and coffee concept that will provide Northwest Indiana with an array of unique bakery items, including original “layered” doughnuts; vegan, gluten-friendly, and keto-friendly products; artisanal breakfast treats; and specialty coffee.
“We are thrilled to bring Parlor’s products, brand, and mission to Northwest Indiana – a region that celebrates with delicious comfort food and coffee, and appreciates top-notch customer service,” said Marissa Barnes, owner of the Valparaiso shop. “One of our key values is to create a place that facilitates conversation and community where friends and families of all ages can gather in a vintage American space that feels like the “Parlor,” a conversation center of 1900’s Victorian homes but with a modern twist.”
Barnes and her husband, Wes, are lifelong residents of Valparaiso and look forward to serving the community.
The Valparaiso location marks Parlor Doughnuts’ first location in northern Indiana and third in the state. The company has more than 24 locations open or in development across the country.
Parlor Doughnuts was founded in Evansville in 2019. Darrick Hayden and his son Noah, along with restaurateur Josh Tudela, brought together their passions for high-quality doughnuts and specialty coffee. Parlor operates 16 shops in nine states and offers franchise opportunities as well.
