VALPARAISO – Northcoast Distributing has announced it plans to move to a new and larger location on the south side of Valparaiso.
The new location is on 35 acres on Indiana 49, south of U.S. 30 across from the Porter County Jail and the Porter County Fairgrounds.
Once the move is complete, the city will purchase Northcoast’s site on Silhavy Road for $4 million and convert it for use as the Public Works Department. However, if another business is interested in the 11-acre site, the city said it would be willing to rent it if new jobs were created for the city.
