GARY – The 25th anniversary of the Paul H. Douglas Center at the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore will be celebrated from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 25.
The center, at 100 N. Lake St., provides environmental education activities for children, school groups and families.
The National Lakeshore also announced that at noon on Saturday, July 16, it will host a barbecue cookout to honor park volunteers. The cookout will be held at the Bailly/Chellberg Farm on Mineral Springs Road in Porter County.
