HAMMOND – Munster Steel Co. Inc. has announced it will move from its long-time home in Munster to neighboring Hammond by the end of 2012.
Munster Steel, founded in 1957, will spend $6 million to acquire land and build a 123,000 square foot plant in the West Point Plaza Industrial Park. The company fabricates structural steel, steel parts and iron for bridges and buildings.
