GARY – Methodist Hospitals’ Auxiliary recognized 137 volunteers for service of more than 38,000 hours.
Ian McFadden, president and CEO, said “volunteers are the heart of Methodist Hospitals. They are there to lend a helping hand and offer a kind word, and we can never over estimate the lasting impression that they leave on our patients and their families.
“In addition to their daily presence at the hospital, their fundraising efforts support scholarships,” said McFadden.
