LAPORTE – The LaPorte County Extension Homemakers have compiled a cookbook to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Indiana Extension Homemakers organization.
These tried and true recipes have been submitted by current Extension Homemakers and they, in turn, have submitted recipes from their mothers and grandmothers who were past members of clubs in LaPorte County. The style is a three-ring binder notebook that includes a stand to prop the book up for easier viewing.
The cookbook is available for $10 at the La Porte County Extension office at 2857 W. State Road 2, Suite A, LaPorte, next to the animal shelter at a cost of $10. For more information, call the Extension Office at 219-324-9407.
