SOUTH BEND – The CPA firm of Kruggel, Lawton, & Company, LLC, has announced that manager Andrew Kominowski, CPA, has completed requirements to earn the designation of Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA).
To become accredited by NACVA, candidates are required to successfully complete an intensive training and testing process. An initial requirement to becoming a CVA is that the applicant be a licensed certified public accountant. To maintain the CVA designation, individuals must have a minimum number of hours of continuing professional education (CPE) each year and conduct him or herself within the ethical mandates established by the profession. The CVA and AVA (Accredited Valuation Analyst) designations are the only valuation credentials accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
