Jasper Engines & Transmissions of Jasper was among the companies included in the Indiana Manufacturers Association 2018 Hall of Fame class.
This year’s honorees were recognized Oct. 24 at the association’s hall of fame event in Indianapolis.
“The goal of the IMA Manufacturers Hall of Fame is to celebrate and recognize the positive achievements made by Indiana manufacturing companies, and to honor their contributions to furthering manufacturing in Indiana,” said Brian Burton, IMA president and CEO. “Indiana is the most manufacturing-intensive state in the country, and the largest industry sector in our state. Manufacturing is the number-one wage payer and employer of Hoosiers.”
Jasper Engines & Transmissions, which employs more than 2,000 people and has 44 branch and distributor locations, is a remanufacturer of gas and diesel engines, transmissions, differentials, rear axle assemblies, marine engines, stern drives, performance engines, and electric motors.
