LAPORTE – Girls on the Run of Northwest Indiana will host its first fall 5K on Nov. 10 at Crichfield Elementary School.
The emphasis is on finishing the race. The event starts at 10 a.m. and the 3.1 mile route will be through the residential roads behind Crichfield School. Register online at www.gotrofnwi.com and at Magic Sports on Lincolnway in LaPorte.
“Our goal is to provide girls with a fabulous, energetic opportunity. Key to that will be volunteers and sponsor organizations. The more community support we can gather, the better the experience will be for the girls,” said Jill Schlueter-Kim, council director for Girls on the Run of NWI.
