MICHIGAN CITY – General Insurance Services has announced three additions to its team and a promotion.
DeShawn Gordon is now part of the personal and commercial lines team at GIS. She has five years of experience. Gordon is a lifelong resident of Michigan and is a graduate of Indiana University.
David Gately has joined the personal and commercial lines team at GIS. He lives in Michigan City, and previously spent 15 years running restaurants in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. He attended Purdue and Indiana University.
Laura Yates is a member of the personal lines team at GIS. She is a graduate of Ball State University and previously operated a book business in Valparaiso.
Kathy Henrich has transferred to the commercial lines team and will work with businesses in the area. She has 16 years of insurance experience and joined the agency in 2005 as a personal lines agent. She is a graduate of Purdue University.
