SOUTH BEND – Andy Metsker has joined Gibson as a loss prevention consultant in risk management service. He specializes in risk management techniques and prevention services for business clients.

Previously, he was the QA/Process Engineer at Hoosier Tire where he was involved in training new employees in safety and production. He also was chief of the Plymouth Fire Department.

Gibson also said Matt Soellner has been named a loss prevention consultant in risk management services, specializing in risk management techniques and loss prevention services to business clients. Previously he was a safety engineer with Alcoa Inc. in Cleveland, Ohio, where he worked in construction and manufacturing developing skills in hazard assessment, process safety, fall protection and human performance.

In addition, Theresa Burns of Gibson has been awarded the Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designation. It is a three-course program for experienced insurance producers and service representatives. Burns is an account manager responsible for the day-to-day service needs of business clients. She obtains information and answers questions regarding coverage and policies.

David Walters has been awarded the Associate in Surplus Lines Insurance (ASLI) designation from the Insurance Institute of America.

Walters is a client executive in the property and casualty practice. He specializes in identifying business, strategic and hazard risk exposures.
