Firms recognized by Travel Weekly

SOUTH BEND – Anthony Travel has received two 21012 Magellan Awards from Travel Weekly magazine for the agency’s work in getting fans to the Notre Dame-Navy football game on Sept. 1 in Dublin, Ireland.

As the official travel provider for the game, known as the Emerald Isle Classic, Anthony Travel began organizing travel plans over three years ago. For fans headed to Ireland, the agency offered a variety of exclusive tour packages that included game tickets, golf and visits to cities and villages.

Pathfinders Advertising and Marketing of Mishawaka developed the marketing communications strategy to promote the game and travel package for Anthony Travel. To implement the campaign, Pathfinders coordinated with the athletic department and alumni associations for both Navy and Notre Dame.

The effort included a promotional video, mobile website, text program, print ads, brochures, posters and table displays.
