PORTAGE – The Northwest Indiana Economic Development District board meets at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17, to discuss projects to be included in the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy. The meeting will be at the NIRPC/Forum Office, 6100 Southport Road.
The Northwest Indiana Economic Development District board is a not-for-profit organization that works to obtain grant assistance and financial support for economic development projects in Northwest Indiana. It was created in 2009 by the Northwest Indiana Forum and the Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission.
