DEMOTTE – Belstra Milling Co. has announced it will spend $2.5 million to renovate and expand its DeMotte animal feed production facility. The project is designed to make the mill more efficient, increase storage and improve capacity.
When completed, the project will create three new jobs, bringing employment at the feed mill to 31.
“Customer demand is driving the need for this expansion and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to strengthen our relationship with our partners throughout the supply chain,” said Tim Belstra, president.
The project was made possible through tax increment finance bonds through the town of DeMotte.
