HAMMOND – The 11th annual Trash to Treasure exhibit at the Indiana Welcome Center from May 31 to July 21 this year will feature Trashion.
Trash to Treasure highlights recycling by showcasing artwork made from recycled and reused materials. Pieces for the Trashion exhibit can be functional or conceptual garments and accessories that are created with reused objects or recyclables.
A Trashion runway show is planned for 2012, but this year items will be accepted even if they aren’t wearable. For more information, contact Rita Norton Mazza at rmazza5057@comcast.net.
