Beth Keyser is new president of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Indiana.
“Beth brings a wealth of experience to this role and understands the critical need to make the consumer’s healthcare experience simpler and more affordable,” said Morgan Kendrick, Anthem senior vice president of national accounts and central region. “She knows the healthcare industry and the importance of building collaborative relationships with employers and care providers to improve the health of our communities.”
Keyser was most recently president of Create health plans in New York. She previously served several leadership roles with Healthways, where she was accountable for domestic and international revenue growth, managed call center operations and established partnerships with health plans, employers, physician organizations and hospitals.
“It’s an honor to lead a company with such a trusted name and such deep roots in communities across Indiana,” said Keyser. “We will continue to innovate to serve our customers’ needs during this ever changing healthcare environment, and long-term we will keep working to improve the consumer experience, improve health and bring about greater healthcare affordability for the people we are privileged to serve.”
Keyser graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi and earned a Master’s degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
