MISHAWAKA – A.M. General has announced it will lay off 350 employees because of decreasing demand for its Humvees. The company has 2,000 employees.
The cutback is because of the Defense Department’s push to withdraw troops from Iraq and Afghanistan.
The company says the layoffs will begin at the end of October and affects only the military side of its production.
