SOUTH BEND – Heritage Place at LaSalle Square, which provides housing for senior citizens, has opened in South Bend. HAMMOND – Purdue University has announced it has canceled plans to open a technology center in Chicago, and instead will concentrate on finding a location in Northwest Indiana.
