SOUTH BEND – The Memorial Health Discovery Center in South Bend is offering light therapy for people who feel the emotional effects that come with cloudy, low-light winter days.

The Sunlight Feel Better Center is available by appointment at no charge through the end of March 2013. Participants can schedule a 25-minute session. The two rooms include light therapy units, massage chairs, summertime visuals and soothing beach sounds.

There are no UV rays connected with the light units. The room is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. For information, call (574) 647-1801.
