Regional business and economic experts will present their forecasts for 2025 at the Business & Economic Outlook Conference Nov. 1 in Valparaiso.
The free program will offer a look into trends influencing Northwest Indiana’s economy in the upcoming year. The event is hosted by the Crown Point-based Northwest Indiana Business RoundTable and the Construction Advancement Foundation.
“Each year, presenters in key sectors of Northwest Indiana’s business community come together to share their insights into what is driving the area’s economy and what we all can expect to see in the year to come,” said Kevin Comerford, NWIBRT education committee chair, in a press release. “This is a great way to keep our fingers on the pulse of the business and economic landscape.”
Presenters at the event include:
- Bert Cook – La Porte Economic Advancement Partnership executive director
- Steve Skalka – Harbour Trust & Investment Management Company chief fiduciary officer
- Heather Ennis – Northwest Indiana Forum president and CEO
- Sherri Ziller – Northwest Indiana Regional Development Authority president and CEO
- Tony Harl – Indiana Commission for Higher Education state director of CTE
- Roland Fegan – Indiana Department of Transportation deputy commissioner of construction
- Micah Pollak – Indiana University Northwest associate professor of economics
The free event is hosted by the Northwest Indiana Business RoundTable and the Construction Advancement Foundation.
