Hopebridge Autism Therapy opens center in Munster

Munster will become Hopebridge Autism Therapy Centers' 22nd location in Indiana.

The location is expected to create more than 50 jobs, including behavior analysts, registered behavior technicians, clinical psychologists, occupational therapist and speech language pathologists.

The Munster center at 1946 45th St. will offer diagnosis and evaluations, ABA therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and family support, among other services:

  • Diagnostic and applied behavior analysis evaluations
  • Facilities designed specifically to enhance pediatric therapy for a spectrum of functioning levels
  • About 20 rooms designed to enhance individualized therapy sessions, including classroom-like setting to work on skills needed for school
  • Large gyms and playrooms to build gross and fine motor skills
  • Socialization with peers
  • A team to help families navigate their insurance coverage options, including Medicaid
  • Parent training and education
