Ross Dress for Less plans to open a new store in Valparaiso on July 20.
The 20,500-square-foot store will call home the Valparaiso Walk Shopping Center, at the southeast corner of La Porte Avenue and Silhavy Road.
Ross Dress for Less is a low-price retailer with more than 2,000 stores in 43 states, the District of Columbia and Guam. The company had plans in March to add about 75 new stores during 2024.
“As we look out over the long term, we remain confident that Ross can grow to 2,900 locations and dd's DISCOUNTS can become a chain of 700 stores given consumers' ongoing focus on value and convenience,” said Gregg McGillis, group executive vice president of property development, in a press release.
The Valparaiso store's grand opening is slated for July 20, with store hours from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. at 91 Silhavy Road.
The company's headquarters are in Dublin, California, with $20.4 billion in revenue in 2023.
